Readership Award – This is for YOU!

This award has fireworks on it, so you can tell it’s gonna be good.

This is one of the more unique awards I’ve received for this blog. Thanks for Oh What a Pain for bestowing it upon me! (I’ve been reading my poetic spam comments, so I feel like using unexpected words – though I’ll never be as creative as those robots. “One reasonable click away!” “Keep functioning!” Classic.)

This is an award for good readership – in other words, a THANK YOU to your loyal readers! While I am grateful for each and every person who chances upon this blog, I do have some followers that have been here from the beginning, who always comment, and even who send me gifts and cards. This one’s for you guys.

Rule 1: Display the pretty firework picture. (check!)

Rule 2: A great reader is someone who… leaves insightful comments, shares your work with others, and truly has an IMPACT on the blogs they read!

Rule 3: Nominate 14 readers who fit your description! Heeeere they are!

1. Kathryn at Allergic to Life

2. Tosha at Bottled Time

3. Miche at The Labyrinth

4. Mo at Day by Day with the Addison Girl

5. Cary at Rollin’ Without a Colon

6. Lindsay at Musings of a Dysautonomiac

7. Amanda at Celiac and Allergy Adventures

8. Tersia at Tersia Burger

9. Sunlight in Winter

10. Sonda at MCS Chatter

11. Jackie at Lethargic Smiles

12. Katie at Connective Tissues Disorder: My Journey

13. Stina at Does Your Journey Seem Long?

14. Teens with POTS

And, for those of you who clicked on the links and are still reading, your readership shall be rewarded too! I’m going to do a DRAWING AND GIVEAWAY to celebrate YOU, my readers! Just leave a comment below saying why you like to read blogs. On June 9th (my sister’s birthday!) I’ll put all of the commenter’s names in a hat and draw one lucky winner to receive a sweet Do I Look Sick button from our Official Store!

Comment away! It’s only 6 days away!

  1. Rachel – thank you kindly for the award. I am going to accept and respond sometime later this week. I have a few of these to catch up on. I am trying to find a balance to my blogging, working on promotion, working on the quilts for the children’s hospital (I have sadly neglected sewing for a while) and finding some time to read. That is my project for next week: some sort of schedule of my time. ha ha

  2. Congratulations πŸ™‚
Thank you on behalf of Daylight Tune Ministry for liking our poetry, your future visits and likes. May our post bless you πŸ™‚

  3. Sweet girl– thanks for the award— & I love to read blogs– because I like to learn something new every day– & you younger girls– I love your blogs– as you keep old people like me thinking younger!!!!! πŸ™‚ I love your sense of humor!!! πŸ™‚ Keep up the good work– & sharing!!! πŸ™‚ later—

  4. Thanks so much for the nomination πŸ™‚ And hmm… why do I like to read blogs? Blogs fascinate me because it’s a way of putting your own writing out there, for the world to see, without having to first convince a publisher to take a gamble. To me, blogging is a great equalizer.

  5. Is there still time to enter? I’d love a pin! I like blogs for the sense of community and for the incredible educational potential they have. I love that we can all learn from and help each other, even scattered across the world.

    1. Don’t worry, I did get your name in to the official bowl! Stay tuned, I’m thinking of doing another giveaway for my 100th post! πŸ™‚

I’ve learned so much from blogging, and it’s saved me TONS because I don’t have to go to the doctor for every little question and concern. πŸ™‚
