The First Ever Do I Look Sick CONTEST!

I’m very excited to announce the Do I Look Sick T-SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST!!!

A little while ago, Do I Look Sick opened an official STORE where you can get some pretty cool awareness gear. I already bought myself some awareness swag:

do I look sick awareness t-shirt

And I have another shirt in the mail. But in celebration of our new awareness store, I wanted to host a T-SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST with prizes and everything!

RULES:

Simple – design a T-shirt that raises awareness and looks fabulous. The design must include the blog address somewhere on it – http://www.DoILookSick.wordpress.com. Be sure to check out the store for some examples of our style and what I think is cool.

Zazzle.com, the site that hosts our store, has GREAT tools to create designs 100% online. They have a cool selection of fonts, so you don’t even have to be artistically inclined to enter! You can do a completely type-based design and have it look great. However, it will give you a bit of an edge to include graphics. YOUR WORK MUST BELONG TO YOU AND ONLY YOU. You can not use google to find images. You must create your own images and slogans.

You do not have to design your shirt using the zazzle site – you may use photoshop, word docs, jpegs, or whatever you work best with!

PRIZES:

1st place will receive their design on a real live t-shirt! Plus they will have their blog/portfolio/whatever they want featured on Do I Look Sick!

2nd place will receive their choice of bumper sticker from our store, plus their design and blog/portfolio/whatever they want featured on Do I Look Sick! Plus their design will be available for purchase in our store!

3rd place will receive their choice of button or keychain from our store, plus their design and blog/portfolio/whatever they want featured on Do I Look Sick! Plus their design will be available for purchase in our store!

Honorable Mentions will have their designs featured on Do I Look Sick as well. 🙂

SUBMISSION:

Send your submission in an attachment to DieHardGuardGirl@yahoo.com – please include your name, the link you would like to be featured if you win, and use the subject line “(YOUR NAME’S) T-SHIRT FOR DOILOOKSICK”

ALL DESIGNS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY SUNDAY, OCTOBER 28TH AT MIDNIGHT.

UPDATE: It has come to our attention that entries submitted via the share feature on Zazzle are not coming through! Please e-mail all entries! Thank you!

Winners will be announced on Halloween!

I can’t wait to see what you all come up with!

Also, a small update on our poster run I’ve covered about half of the UNT campus so far, but it’s been very difficult as I’m going through a rough patch with endo. If any Dentonians feel so inclined, I would really love some volunteers to help cover the 2nd half of campus! Comment/email/facebook/tweet if interested in helping! And if anyone else wants to post some awareness posters at their university, office, favorite hang out, etc, just let me know and I’ll send you the poster so you can print and post! Thanks in advance to everyone.

About rachelmeeks

My name is Rachel Meeks. I have endometriosis, an incurable pain condition, IBS, a digestive illness, and PCOS, which causes irregular periods and infertility. After keeping my illnesses a secret, I started to get upset about how my fellow sick people were being mistreated because of ignorance. I knew that I'd need to stand up, make some noise, wear my heart on my sleeve, and admit that I am not well to make a difference.
